Removing 'misinterpreted' state values from DELTA descriptions -------------------------------------------------------------- The program 'dismis' removes 'misinterpreted' states from an 'items' file. These states must be flagged by values having a comment starting with ' The program files 'dismis.bat' and 'dismis.box' are available in the file http://delta-intkey.com/test/dismis.zip Download this file and unzip it in the DELTA directory (usually 'c:\delta'). To run the program, open an MS-DOS window and move to the directory containing the data. Enter 'dismis'. This creates a file 'items.tmp', which is a new 'items' file not containing the 'misinterpreted' state values. The attribute in the above example would become '2,1'. Use the file 'items.tmp' instead of the original 'items' in operations not requiring the misinterpreted values, e.g. 'confor tonex'.
