Vegetative form. Leaf blades involute; abaxially glabrous.
Hermaphrodite (`perfect') spikelets. Lower glume midvein scabrous (strongly). Upper glume midvein scabrous (strongly). Lemma awned. Lemma veins scaberulous, with the hairs only at the vein apex (?); intercostal regions scaberulous, the hairs only at the apex (?). Median awn dorsal, arising from the mid-point of the lemma.
Distribution. Tasmania, Victoria, and South Australia.
Ecology. Coastal.
