Vegetative form. Leaf blades filiform, 1-1.5 mm wide.
Hermaphrodite (`perfect') spikelets. Lower glume intercostal regions glabrous. Upper glume intercostal regions glabrous. Lemma awned. Lemma veins glabrous; intercostal regions glabrous. Median awn dorsal, arising from the lower half of the lemma.
Distribution. Tasmania, Victoria, and South Australia.
Ecology. Coastal.
